Have faith in your growing kids and their capabilities

We are living in a wrong illusion that the most under used natural resource are elder people and the parents. In fact, it is the children who are in that group. They have a variety of ideas to be used, different idealism, and lots of potential that needs to be put into use.

Beliefs like parents saying they know how to do the things the right way and the kids are just like clay to be molded are wrong. It was in the 70s that these all beliefs underwent a major change where Dr. Brazelton made an influence saying that the kids can also bring out responses in their guardians. We have never taken any help or guidance from our kids.

We don’t value the contribution of our children and that is one of the reasons that there is no considerable growth of our children.

It is very important that you are aware of all the possibilities through which the children and their community can be beneficial for us. Providing food for the homeless, collecting the litter from the neighborhood, volunteering at school activities, helping the grandparents, saving your pocket money for some charitable use, asking for their views regarding any dilemma that you are facing. In our daily lives there are both small and big chances where the children can be given an opportunity to contribute towards the society. It is not only advantageous for the family and the society but also for the children too.

The best way that you can support the kids is to make them feel good about themselves. If the kids are spreading love and contentment then they will get the same in return from the world. Nowadays there are so many questions arising with the change of time like teen pregnancy, increasing teen rage, and kids committing suicides.
Maybe if we could just give our kids a chance to prove themselves in this world of supposedly sensible adults, and have faith in the their positive capabilities.
